Purchase Date:
- Goods were supplied from January 2024 to November 2025. December 2025 onwards, stock not affected.
Recall Country:
This product is only being recalled in the European Union (all countries and states).
Recall Details:
This product is manufactured using recycled plastics and was originally labelled as microwave safe. However, under Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 (effective 15/09/2022), food-contact products made from recycled plastics must not be designated as microwave-safe.
These two items were tested for microwave use and successfully passed; the microwave-safe designation was therefore applied to the product packaging.
At Puckator, customer safety and satisfaction are of our paramount considerations, and we take great lengths to ensure that the products we supply are fully compliant with all safety regulations.
Following updated guidance from the EU Sanitary Commission in Poland, we have chosen to implement a precautionary recall of these two product lines. This action is being taken to correct the labelling and bring the product information fully in line with the latest regulatory guidance.
This product is fully compliant with food-contact use, and despite the previous successful testing for microwave use, we are issuing this recall to rectify the packaging and labelling.
No other products are affected.
What to do next
We will be getting in contact with all customers who have purchased this stock during the above period to check if they have any remaining stock.
If you do have remaining stock, please remove these two items from sale, and await contact from us. We will then offer you one of the following options.
- To return the stock for a full credit note/refund.
- We will ask you to dispose of any remaining stock, and we will issue a full credit note/refund.
- We will provide you with labels and instructions on where to apply the labels.
