Puckator Celebrates First Anniversary of EDC in Poland

One whole year of faster delivery, increased product availability and improved operations, has allowed us to continue and increase our supply to our European-based customers. This month we are celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of our European Distribution Centre (EDC) in Poland – and what a year it has been with over 3,000,000 stock quantities dispatched and 16,000 orders sent out so far!

Prior to the EDC, all of our orders were shipped worldwide from our UK warehouse based in Cornwall, England. With the business expanding, demands increasing and Brexit looming we had to react quickly to maintain a strong relationship with our European customers and to continue expanding in Europe and worldwide. So, this time last year we opened the EDC in Wrocław, Poland, which was a huge success and celebratory moment for the Puckator Group. Since then, we have already sent a whopping 1,500 pallets and 29,000 boxes to our customers!

Of course, it didn’t come without its challenges, especially with the shipping bottlenecks, increased fuel costs and the remnants of the coronavirus impact. However, despite all of this we are still able to celebrate the success of opening a European-based warehouse and distribution centre!

During this transition, our teams across all offices and both warehouses have worked incredibly hard to ensure a smooth and minimal impact on our customers’ experience, and we have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback and support from our customers who have been affected by these changes.

Now that we are settled in and have loaded up both warehouses with our new festive products, we are in full swing of getting our customers stocked up ahead of Christmas and ready for another successful year ahead full of trade fairs, promotions & new stock arrivals!
